Stainless 316 ladder for platforms and marine plant.
Offshore is the hardest specification we fabricate to. Salt mist, continuous humidity, chloride corrosion, cyclic mechanical load from platform motion — every one of these multiplies the failure mode of a cable management system. We ship stainless 316 and 316L ladder, trunking, and tray to FPSO conversions and fixed platforms.
Why cable management matters here
An offshore cable ladder fails in two ways: it corrodes through at a weld, or its fastener releases under vibration. Either way, the consequence is the same — a cable run drops, and in the close-packed geometry of a platform deck, a dropped cable can foul safety or production systems.
We build offshore sections exclusively in stainless 316L when the specification calls for chloride tolerance — welded, pickled, and passivated in a traceable pipeline. Fasteners are matched stainless, never galvanised. Clip systems are rated for the vibration profile of FPSO or SPAR topsides.
What we ship
Traceable material certificates per heat. Pickled-and-passivated finish documented. Fabrication drawings stamped for offshore inspection. Pre-bundled by module with clear installation sequence per the EPC’s plan.
A small fraction of our volume, but the proof of specification
Offshore is a niche slice of Metosu’s work — high-value, high-spec, and the toughest qualification. We stay active in the segment because it holds the engineering standard for every other industrial line.
