Hot-dip galvanised ladder for coal, copper, nickel.
Indonesian mining is where the heavy specification lives — coal handling plants in Kalimantan, copper concentrators in Sumbawa, nickel HPAL facilities in Sulawesi. Every one of those projects needs cable ladder and trunking that can take dust, vibration, wash-down, and a decade of hard weather without a repaint.
Why cable management matters here
Mining cable runs are the unglamorous circulatory system of the project. The ladder carries the power from the substation to the crusher, the conveyor, the slurry pump, the ore-car hoist. Every one of those machines can down-rate or trip a whole line if its feed is interrupted. A failed cable run from a corroded or collapsed ladder is a half-million-dollar day.
We build for the conditions. Hot-dip galvanised as the default — not pre-galvanised — for outdoor coal handling and stockyard runs. Heavier gauge (2.0 mm or 2.5 mm) side rails where the cable-weight plus dust-load is structural. Stainless 316 for the wet sections of HPAL plants where sulfuric-acid-laced mist is part of the working atmosphere.
What we ship
Long ladder sections to minimise joints in the wash-down zones. Extra zinc thickness. Pre-drilled for the project’s specific cable-clamp plan. Tagged and bundled by pit.
A forty-year presence in Indonesian mining
Metosu has shipped ladder and trunking to coal, copper, nickel, and gold projects across the archipelago since the 1990s. The tolerance for corrosion and vibration is the industry’s primary demand and our default specification.
