Clean Energy — industrial cable management by Metosu

Industry · Clean Energy

Outdoor-rated cable ladder for solar, wind, and geothermal.

Solar farms, wind nacelles, and geothermal switchyards have one thing in common — long outdoor cable runs in the weather. Metosu fabricates the hot-dip galvanised ladder and heavy-duty tray that carries those runs from the generator array to the grid interface.

Why cable management matters here

Renewable energy assets sit outdoors, often in corrosive environments — coastal winds, high UV, dust. The cable runs between the array and the balance-of-plant are the longest structural runs in the project and they carry the revenue. A compromised ladder corroded through at a single support means a blackout and a repair campaign through weather.

We specify hot-dip galvanised ladder with 75-micron zinc as the default — thicker on request — for solar farm DC collection and AC distribution. For wind nacelles, space is the constraint and the ladder is sized to the cramped vertical run. For geothermal, H₂S tolerance pushes substrate to stainless 316L on exposed sections.

What we ship

Ladder cut to span, welded in Tangerang, hot-dip galvanised at our partner bath, tagged to the project drawing. For floating solar (Cirata scale), tray stanchions ship with corrosion protection specified for freshwater immersion.

The energy transition is the work of a generation

Indonesia’s PLN and independent power producers are the customers driving this segment. We expect this to be the fastest-growing industry vertical for Metosu through 2030.
